Siren Medical Training Services still has some free 2 hour session availability for community business/sports clubs/organisations to undertake Basic Life Support and Automated external defibrillator training.

These sessions are delivered in a relaxed style with an aim to dispel any fears or concerns you or your colleagues may have, giving you the confidence to use Basic life support skills and a defibrillator if ever called upon to do so.

When someone collapses in front of you, gasping or unresponsive it’s real, and it’s deadly.

Every year, approximately 30,000 people in the UK suffer cardiac arrests.

The stark truth is only approximately 8% of them survive.

That is not a survival rate to celebrate.

It is a death rate of 92%, and it’s happening right where we live, in our homes, in front of the people who love us most.

The lucky few who survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (only 8%), are often still here because a bystander or loved one performed CPR until emergency services arrived.
