Now, everyone knows that I love my role as a Slimming World Consultant, being a support to those who want to lose weight and achieve their dreams 🥰
Yesterday, I had the great privilege of being present at the beautiful Mrs Diane Isted's wedding! She was the winner of our 'Woman of the Year' competition, having lost 5 stone to reach her target before her big day! Just stunning! Here I am with the beauty herself, and another 5 members. Together, we are 25 stone lighter, and 4 of us are at Target 😍

🤩LONG POST ALERT!!!🤩
So, much to my surprise, I was nominated by some of my fellow consultants as a nominee for Woman of the Year 2024 in our District of Sussex and Surrey, and I only went and blooming won!!! 😳
Standing in front of about 80 people and sharing my weight loss journey over the last 10 years was scary, over whelming and powerful, I was shaking like a leaf!
The other nominees were much worthy winners in my eyes, but the voters said different! 🏆
The reason behind this post is on the back of what we were talking about in group...
NEVER FORGET HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME! 🤩
I have had many ups and downs, lots of life changing curveballs thrown in, but the one thing I am most proud of is never giving up! 🫶
As you all know, I am only just a member at the end of the day, but my top tip is that staying to group is the glue that holds everything together. We all deserve 1 hour each week, just for us. If you have stopped staying, or stopped coming altogether, you are always welcome and will never regret that decision! 😁 ###
