Some of our staff took part in a breath work and meditation class this morning with Katy Cook from Reach Beyond Wellness. They floated out feeling calm, centred, and ready to take on the day.

But now it’s time to swap “ommm” for “on it!” 😄💪 Wakey wakey, team — back to work we go!

It’s wonderful to see everyone coming together and getting involved — staff and residents alike. Our residents really enjoy these sessions, and it’s lovely to see the smiles and laughter throughout the home. 💖👏

Exciting Activities Next Week at the Care Home

• On Tuesday, a poet will visit the care home to talk to residents about their lives. They will then create individual poems inspired by each resident’s story, which will be displayed around the home.

• On Thursday, we have two special staff wellbeing sessions:

• 11:00 AM – Breathwork relaxation for staff to unwind and recharge.

• 2:00 PM – Staff facials for some pampering and self-care.

We’re looking forward to a week full of creativity, relaxation, and wellbeing!

🎄 A Huge Thank You to Dunelm! 🎄

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dunelm for the wonderful gifts donated for our residents as part of their Christmas Appeal. This was the first batch of gifts, and each bag was filled with so much care and thoughtfulness.

🎾 Another fun indoor tennis session today! 🎾
Our residents had a fantastic time getting active and sharing plenty of laughs while practising their tennis skills. It’s always lovely to see everyone joining in, keeping fit, and having fun together — such great energy all round! 💪😊
