Let’s talk about chair yoga 🧘🏾‍♀️
My Visit last week at one our clients was a reminder of why I started ‘Holistic Living with Jazz’ … it was my Grandma who inspired me to pursue my vision of this Holistic Village and community… & now it’s finally coming to life! 🙏🏾💜

It was great to see Salome one of our Holistic Health practitioners in action

Salome was offering Low mobility yoga. Chair yoga is perfect for those with low mobility, whether you have an injury or you are just not able.

Holistic Living with Jazz have been fortunate to work with Oakland Care an award winning Care Home to offer some of our services to the elderly.

People often assume yoga is for those who are fit and super flexible, but it’s actually used as an alternative therapy for healing both the body and the mind.

Whilst recovering from an injury I recently enjoyed this group Chair Yoga session with Salome.

It’s the first out of the Seven that I’ve actually been able to tick off my bucket list last week when visiting Rome ✅

After spending 3 beautiful nights in the city of Rome I’m happy to be back in nature 🌱…

This Sunday I really had time to reflect! Don’t forget to check in with yourself from time to time…

✅ Stay hydrated
🌱 It’s summer, structured water from mountain springs, & streams flowing over rocks and cliffs are one of the best forms of hydration. Coconut water is also great too if you can get hold of some fresh coconut water! 🥥

✅ Stay grounded
🌱 With constant change & challenges it can be difficult sometimes but being out in nature always grounds me. (Take off your shoes too).

✅ Keep Active
🌱 Even with my injury I’m making a conscious effort to walk everywhere, keep it moving and to stay active. 💪🏾

Ohhh and loving my 👟

One of the highlights of seeing Rome has to be visiting as well as …

Pilgrimage for some, historical trip for others, either way it has to be done!🙏🏾

I Guess I’ve got another country ticked off my bucket list 😅✅

Also you may not have heard of Palazzo del Quirinale but it is a beautiful historical building in Rome, where the old Popes and Kings used to live.

It was the architecture for me, as well as the interior design, artwork, high ceilings ,fabrics and more 😍🤌🏾

🇹🇷 Turkey was beautiful, definitely plan on exploring more of it at some point 🙏🏾

Thoughts and feelings from my journal…

The more I think about life, the more I realise - Life is truly an amalgamation of experiences, shared through time & space with other beings, we constantly serve each other through life lessons, whether good or bad.

Surely those lessons are worth writing down and sharing some day.

Favourite things to do, foods to eat & places to be out here in Rhodes… ft my new bikini 💜🙏🏾

Finally settled into my new routine
I lost my suitcase over two weeks ago after flying out to Italy, it was unsettling to say the least! ✈️

I’m telling you this because I had to make a decision to focus on my lost luggage or enjoy myself regardless and live in the moment. 💫

Here I am enjoying myself regardless, no my suitcase hasn’t been returned but I’m still here living life! Fortunately I had some clothes in my Cabin bag, so I can make do!

Currently reading a book called ‘The Seven Laws of Success’ aka ‘The Seven Laws of Life’ by Depaak Chopra which was recommended to me by 🙏🏾

This situation reminded me of the art of detachment, and so was a very humbling experience. A section in the book talks on the Laws of detachment Not only with things but people too , I would defo recommend 🌱

Everyone has challenges in life it’s how you deal with them that makes the difference. If you know you know…

Life’s not all sunshine and rainbows, it’s about learning how to dance in the storm. I’m so used to it now you wouldn’t know the difference 😅

Just wanted to share this with you, we go through it! I’ve been dealing with a lot more than a lost suitcase over the past couple months but such is life 🙂
