Being kind is the best thing you can be. But sometimes we can focus a lot of our energy on doing things for others and forget about being kind to ourselves. Just like a car needs fuel to run, we need to fill ourselves up with kindness in order to be the best we can be. All that kindness inside you will spill out into the world and help you be kind to people too.
Being kind to ourselves not only means we have more enthusiasm to help others, but it has scientific benefits, too. Practising self-kindness can slow down our heart rate, helping us feel calmer and even supporting our immune system! Sometimes we’re far more critical of ourselves than we would be of other people; just remember that mistakes are marvellous and help us to learn - and no one’s perfect!

📚Back to school means a lot of mixed emotions - Nervousness, excitement or even a lot of uncertainty. Especially after the Christmas period as this is not always a happy occasion for some children for different reasons.

✨BUT…Remember, your magic is always inside you, no matter where you go! ✨🪄 Just like Aladdin with his lamp, all you need to do is pause and cross your arms with palms facing you, place your hands on your chest and give a little rub to awaken and release your magic and calm your mind✨🪄.

🦦PARENT TIP: 🦦. Take a moment with your child and get them to pause and notice the sensations on their bodies - are they tense, calm, warm or cold? Together take 3 deep breaths, feel your feet on the floor and imagine your both strong trees with big strong roots from your feet Into the earth. Finish off saying “I am calm, I am strong, I have the magic inside me” 🌳✨

🌕This particular moon is a super new moon making what we would normally experience during a new moon more intense!

🌕New moons are always a time of rebirth and reflection so this moon will have us really looking at our thoughts and feelings.

🌕Couple that with he fact this is happening in Aquarius which is the thinker and the revolutionary of the zodiac we will be in for some seriously deep reflection.

♒️Luckily we are in Aquarius so although the usual feelings of being withdrawn and emotional may still be there through this intense moon, Aquarius will give us the power to remain objective.
