And in that moment, you might sit there scrolling on your phone for a bit. Enough!

Then youโ€™re in the right place, as this is most of my clients! I bet whilst youโ€™re really busy juggling home and work life, or planning your next career move, you get that odd moment to yourself. Noticing other people talking about their successes. Or you think of your kidโ€™s friendโ€™s mum/dad. You know, the one that seems to have everything together? Except, thatโ€™s not reality, is it? Youโ€™re doing your best and itโ€™s social media, friends, family and your environment that gets to tell you that youโ€™re not doing enough, or being enough. These beliefs are affecting you more than you realise, and I can help you with that. But first, a bit about my own journey. I sadly lost my brother in 2015, when he was just 35. This hit me really hard. And I had a realisation โ€“ I wasnโ€™t really living life. I worked 60+ hour weeks in London, working my way up the corporate ladder where I was continually trying to โ€œproveโ€ myself in a male-dominated industry. I never saw my husband, so we didnโ€™t โ€œhave timeโ€ for a family. After having this realisation we both quit our jobs, took control of our lives and launched our first business together. Followed by a second and now a third! We started living life on our terms, which allowed us the time to start a family. We now have 2 beautiful children who are our absolute worlds. Despite all this, I never felt truly fulfilled with work thoughโ€ฆ

I took some time to reflect on what really interested me, did some work on my internal values and beliefs and realised that I wanted to learn about the mind. I was able to take these learnings and link them in with my other passion, which is for helping people! Fast forward to today, I am a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Certified Master Hypnotist, Certified Master Time Line Therapistโ„ข and Certified Professional Coach. I have a real passion for helping people get from where they are now to where they want to be. How I can help you

How do you start your day? This is how I do!

Itโ€™s so common to be riddled with low self worth, low self love and low self confidence. But do you notice a theme there - itโ€™s all SELF.

I spend so much of my time cheering on other people, celebrating my friends and family, and supporting my clients. So itโ€™s important that I find the time to cheer myself on tooโ€ฆ.

So I start my day by giving myself a big fat High 5! And saying to myself โ€œYouโ€™re doing great Claireโ€, or โ€œYouโ€™re really showing up at the minute Claireโ€, or even โ€œI know this it hard, but youโ€™re still pushing tough - well downโ€.

Procrastination is something we all face and overcoming it isn't the easiest of tasks but here are a few tips to help you get back on track:

Step 1- Recognise that you are procrastinating.
You might be delaying a task for a genuinely good reason, and if so you aren't necessarily procrastinating. However, if you start to put things off indefinitely, or switch focus because you want to avoid doing something, then you need to recognise that you are procrastinating.

Step 2- Work out why you are procrastinating.
You need to understand the reasons why you are procrastinating before you can begin to tackle it. Are you avoiding a task because you find it boring or unpleasant? If so, take steps to get it out of the way quickly, so that you can focus on more enjoyable tasks.

Step 3- Adopt anti-procrastination strategies that work for you.
Procrastination is a habit โ€“ a deeply ingrained pattern of behaviour therefore finding strategies that work for you is extremely beneficial to tackling it. Stopping procrastinating doesn't happen over night as habits only stop being habits when you avoid practicing them, so try as many of the strategies, below, to give yourself the best possible chance of succeeding.
