We're heading for a period of EXTREME HEAT, according to our colleagues at the Met Office... 🥵

At times like this, we know lots of youngsters tend to flock to open water sites and jump in to cool off. This is a really bad idea.

This weekend, please speak to your kids about being safe around open water - jumping into quarries and reservoirs can be extremely dangerous (and illegal, at some sites).

You should only ever enter open water if you are an experienced open water swimmer, part of an organised group or at a safe, designated and supervised site.

Don't let your children become another statistic.
