Hands up if you're enjoying this AMAZING warm weather we're having!!! 👐💛☀️ Well the good news is, the heat is set to continue over the weekend (.best eat your heart out!) and the even better news is that we have some beautiful healthy smoothies to help you keep cool, hydrated and topped up with vitamins 😎

Potato's are such a great addition to any meal and these turmeric and curry spiced roasties are sure to be a winner with your family!!

💛Turmeric & Curry Roasties💛

1 yellow onion, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, sliced or minced
5 large potatoes*
1 Tablespoon turmeric paste
1 teaspoon finely ground sea salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ Tablespoon curry powder, optional
3-4 Tablespoons sesame oil

Serves 6
Add all ingredients, (except potato's), into a large bowl and stir to combine thoroughly.
Add potatoes and toss to make sure all potato's are well covered in mixture.
Bake at 165°for 45min until potatoes are cooked through.....this is, literally, the perfect side dish and I know you'll agree! I can't wait to make this again 😍

Just setting up at the fabulous and look at that azure blue sky!! We have our usual jars of Golden Goodness and samples of it mixed with fresh chilled orange juice 🍊💛🍊
Spring has sprung and we couldn't be happier to see the little bumblebees come out of hibernation, wee buds on the trees and all the lovely signs of new life!!
What else comes with spring?? ..... Why not come along and get your beautiful mum a treat from your favourite local farmers market..... We have to name but a few!!

We're treating ourselves this week to the usual AMAZING pizza kits from Pizza Table and added a punnet of mixed mushrooms from SporeShore which we'll fry in lurpak and a bit of crushed garlic, black pepper and top our pizza with 🤩💛🤩

We might have lovely blue skies today but I'm out with the pups for a lunchtime walk and it is CHILLY!
I'm *that* cold that I've taken a notion for soup and this one is one I tried before Halloween, it will warm you up from the inside
😍🔥😍

Warming Carrot & Ginger soup

1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 clove garlic finely chopped
1 piece thumb-sized of fresh ginger peeled and grated
1 teaspoon turmeric paste
1 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper
500g carrots peeled and chopped
1lt stock of your choice (I used ham and it was lovely, but vegetable or chicken would work equally as well.

💛Saute the onion and garlic in olive oil over a med-low heat until onions are soft.
💛Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until carrots are soft.
💛You can leave chunky for a more rustic soup or blend carefully with a handblender and swirl a teaspoon of creme fraiche if you're really fancy 😍
Trust me, this soup is a keeper and you will def want to make it again 💛💛💛

Hey folks! We won't be at the amazing this weekend but you def need to drop by and visit the other amazing local business's and nab yourself some goodies!

We thought you might like to try this delish smoothie to kickstart a beautiful day!!

In a blender add

1x small banana
1x cup of pineapple (I used frozen to make the smoothie extra thick!)
1x cup milk (I used almond but cows milk is also great!)
1x teaspoon Turmeric Healing Company paste
1/2x teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1x tablespoons chia seeds

Blend until smooth and serve 💛😍💛

With warm summer days now a distant memory, I thought I'd share my go-to winter warmer...
This is a super easy, refreshing hot drink, designed to heat you from the inside 🔥🔥🔥
Sidenote..... As an added bonus, this is an AMAZING drink when you've got a cold or flu

🍋 Turmeric Lemonade 🍋

In a heatproof jug add the following:

1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
The juice of 1 lemon (or half depending your preference)
2 teaspoons of manuka honey
1 teaspoon of Turmeric Paste
Top up with 1 pint of freshly boiled water
Stir well

Leave the ingredients to meld for about 5 minutes, then enjoy!!
Its like a cheeky bear hug in a glass!! 💛🔥💛

Omg we are drooling over this recipe this evening in the kitchen!!
Turmeric, is such an amazing anti inflammatory that here at head office, we try to have it in at least 1 meal a day.... Im a little bit lazy when it comes to cooking so I tend to mix it into my orange juice in the morning or into a golden latte but this recipe is making me hungry for seconds lol.....

Creamy Turmeric Chicken

2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more for seasoning
1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric paste
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup double cream
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken stock
Cooked basmati or jasmine rice, for serving
Enjoy!! 💛💛💛
