Members of the Health and Wellbeing Group continue to raise concerns about the proposals by elc to introduce parking charges in Dunbar and other East Lothian towns.
They have attended meetings arranged by the community councils and others.
Chair Jacquie Bell assisted with a stall against charges at Haddington farmers market.
In Dunbar charges at the pool will impact on people taking healthy exercise.
High street charges could displace cars to the medical centre .
Charges impact on people who may have health needs but who dont qualify for a blue badge.
The charges impact on those without access to public transport.
The decision on progressing charges in Dunbar was moved from August to October to December 9th.
If the decision is to progress there will be a need for traffic regulation orders which can be objected to and planning applications which can be objected to. Objections will lead to delays in implementation.

You’re being offered the free flu vaccine this winter to help protect against the flu virus. While the vaccine doesn't protect against bird flu, it can reduce the risk of a new flu virus forming if you’re exposed to flu and bird flu at the same time.
