• Age 75+ Covid vaccine
• At-risk groups (long-term conditions, pregnancy, carers, etc.)
• Children eligible for nasal flu (Available from September)
📅 Saturday Pre-booked Flu Clinics:
• Sat 4th October: 9am – 4:30pm
• Sat 11th October: 9am – 4:30pm
📅 Weekday Clinics
Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 6pm (pre-booked appointments available)

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Riversdale Surgery Walk for Belper Shed 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

The team at Riversdale Surgery will be walking from Derby City back to the surgery to raise money for an amazing local cause – Belper Shed! 🎉

Belper Shed provides a welcoming space for people to connect, create, repair, and repurpose, helping improve wellbeing and combat loneliness in our community. Open to both men and women, it’s all about finding purpose, friendship, and conversation through making and doing. 💬🛠️

Our goal is to raise £1,000 to support their brilliant work. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. 💙

National recommendations from the Department of Health state that, as we get older, in order to get the health benefits of being active we should do the following:

⭐Aim to be active daily and try to do at least 2.5 hours of moderate intensity activity a week
⭐Do exercises to improve the strength of our muscles and bones.
⭐Do exercises to help improve our balance and coordination.
⭐Strength and balance is considered to be one of the biggest interventions in reducing the risk of falls.

All of the Live Stronger for Longer classes will include exercises to help you achieve these objectives. All of the staff working to deliver these sessions are well qualified and have been approved by the Falls Activity Advisors.
