Yesterday evening we celebrated the 80th anniversary of VE Day at The Grange.

With support, the individuals made a quintessentially British afternoon tea including scones with jam and cream and of course a Victoria Sandwich.

What better way to celebrate the anniversary and to encompass an evening of joy, reflection and celebration.

We are hugely grateful for the recent delivery of two Proace battery electric people carriers to Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) by their strategic charity partner, Toyota (GB) plc.

These vehicles will be used by QEF’s retail teams at its 15 charity shops and by us, The Grange, to support our individuals enjoy trips out together. To all our friends at Toyota, we very much look forward to the difference we can make together.

Look at this breathtaking Gingerbread House, made by the individuals we support with the help of our Activities and leisure Coordinator. They have thought of everything, even snow covered trees in the garden. I think everyone should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved, as they also made the template too. I think this definitely ups the ante for the Christmas Cake decorating this year!
