The benefits of cupping include local pain relief and muscle relaxation. Cupping improves overall health by removing the energy blockages that cupping practitioners identify as barriers to the flow of healthy energy or qi (meaning life force). For athletes, cupping may help increase blood flow to a particular muscle region or help reduce pain.
Cupping has a different effect on different people.
There are several different types of cupping depending on what you are after.
Dry cupping targets that particularly muscle/area and helps soften the muscles or knots and helps increase blood flow in that area.
Wet cupping helps with chronic and acute pain. It also helps with addiction. It can also help draw out toxins quicker as blood is drawn from the body with this method.
Massage cupping helps to increase blood flow, helps relive muscle tension, cellulite, rejuvenate skin and helps break down fats. It also helps with anxiety and helps flush out toxis in the body. It also increases oxygen flow and nutrients with in the body. It can also help reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and help to reduce fluid with in the area that's worked on.
