Life Balance Pilates Instructor & Health Coach I have always had a keen interest in preventative health and lifestyle medicine.

My name is Beth, and I am a qualified CNM Health Coach with the long-term aim of supporting and enabling individuals to live an all-round more balanced and healthy life. This approach looks at the whole person; rather than acting reactively to an illness, whereby you’re only treating the symptom and not the root cause. As my personal interests in lifestyle medicine grew, I began looking into possi

ble career changes, and Health Coaching immediately jumped out at me. It covered so many areas of interest; how the body works, nutrition, fitness & lifestyle. It’s made me realise more than ever how what we eat and what we put into our bodies can have such a fundamental impact on them, and that food can be an incredible healing tool. I wanted to qualify as a Health Coach so that I could empower individuals and businesses to take control of their own and employees health and lifestyle habits. I want to support individuals to make long term positive and consistent change; gaining a deeper understanding of each individual and what they want from their future health and life. From my own experience, it can sometimes be hard to know where to turn when you feel overwhelmed and burnt out from the day-to-day slog of life. The thought of making any change is daunting, and to do that alone even more so. Having a strong background in administration has allowed me to assist individuals and businesses in gaining back time within their day; by taking on various tasks/jobs on their behalf it has allowed them to free up space for themselves and their goals. I believe that finding balance (whatever form that takes for each individual) within our day to day lives can lead to improved health. Let’s find that balance and feel healthier, as well as happier in our lives!

New Workshop: Pilates Mini-ball Movement

Join me in August for an afternoon of Pilates.

This will be a fun but challenging session based around using the mini ball, but then we’ll make sure we spend some time lengthening out the body and relaxing into the remainder of the weekend.

New Workshop: Pilates Deep Dive

Join me in February for a workshop that will run through a selection of Pilates mat work exercises, where we’ll discuss the history and technique in more detail; allowing attendees to really drill down and try to nail the movement.

Following this there will be a lovely stretch session to finish, along with a sweet treat.

An easy dinner or lunch where you can make extra and then have it again the next day.

Halloumi & pepper kebabs, rice, pickled red onion, lettuce, avocado, Greek salad and home made tzatziki.

You could have any kebab you fancy instead. Or switch out rice for pitta … or have both…maybe you have some chicken that needs using … make extra of the sides and have that with another form of protein the next day 💚

I am really excited to be able to announce that I will be starting a Pilates class at the amazing Berkhamsted Pilates studio ()

Starts: 13th September
Time: 10.30-11.30am
Level: Mixed
Price: £15 per class (when you buy a minimum of 6) or £18 drop in
