My name is Beth, and I am a qualified CNM Health Coach with the long-term aim of supporting and enabling individuals to live an all-round more balanced and healthy life. This approach looks at the whole person; rather than acting reactively to an illness, whereby you’re only treating the symptom and not the root cause. As my personal interests in lifestyle medicine grew, I began looking into possible career changes, and Health Coaching immediately jumped out at me. It covered so many areas of interest; how the body works, nutrition, fitness & lifestyle. It’s made me realise more than ever how what we eat and what we put into our bodies can have such a fundamental impact on them, and that food can be an incredible healing tool. I wanted to qualify as a Health Coach so that I could empower individuals and businesses to take control of their own and employees health and lifestyle habits. I want to support individuals to make long term positive and consistent change; gaining a deeper understanding of each individual and what they want from their future health and life. From my own experience, it can sometimes be hard to know where to turn when you feel overwhelmed and burnt out from the day-to-day slog of life. The thought of making any change is daunting, and to do that alone even more so. Having a strong background in administration has allowed me to assist individuals and businesses in gaining back time within their day; by taking on various tasks/jobs on their behalf it has allowed them to free up space for themselves and their goals. I believe that finding balance (whatever form that takes for each individual) within our day to day lives can lead to improved health.
