Rehab is a journey that rarely travels in a straight line.
When you’re recovering from an injury, every week can feel completely different from the one before. One week you might feel strong, motivated, and full of progress… and the next week might bring frustration, setbacks, or new challenges you didn’t expect. And that’s okay!
What people often don’t see is that rehab isn’t just physical—it’s mental. Each stage teaches you something: patience, resilience, discipline, or how to listen to your body in a way you never had to before. You start to understand that progress isn’t measured only by how far you can walk, lift, or stretch, but by what you learn about yourself along the way.
And the truth is, no two rehab journeys look the same.
What works perfectly for one person might not work at all for someone else. An exercise that takes one person months to master might click instantly for another—and neither experience is “right” or “wrong.” It’s simply individual.
Healing doesn’t follow a schedule or a straight upward line. Some days you’ll move forward, some days you’ll feel stuck, and some days you’ll surprise yourself. But each week adds a new perspective, a new lesson, and a new piece of progress—whether it’s visible or not.
If you’re going through rehab, remember:
Your journey is yours. Honor it. Be patient with it. Keep showing up for it.
Progress isn’t linear, but it is happening. Keep going. 💪✨
