I have to hold my hands up & say, I’m not always great at tending to my own inner kingdom.
Especially in winter. When it’s cold & wet, I don’t want to go out unless I have to. I’d much rather stay in with another cup of coffee.
But I’ve noticed my skin lately. A little duller. A little drier. Itchy. The wrinkles doing what wrinkles do.
Menopause is absolutely taking advantage, hormones dropping, collagen slowing, dopamine lower than it’s ever been.
But I’ve contributed too, with my own choices.
So I’m taking a stand. In a way that doesn’t trigger the part of me that’s demand avoidant, because that’s actually what my work is about.
Not fixing or getting rid of the parts you don’t like. Understanding them. Honouring them. Building safety & self trust through small, consistent acts.
So I’ve made myself a blend. Twenty six years as an aromatherapist & I still get excited about this. Oils that rejuvenate, rebalance, bring back a healthy glow & call it intuition but what I created just happens to support the very things I work with my clients on.
Tending to your inner kingdom doesn’t have to be big.
Sometimes it’s about looking at what you’re currently choosing.
What small act of have you been putting off?
