We’re pleased to announce the launch of Bluetooth locating devices as part of our award-winning Dementia Safeguarding Scheme.

The new Tile devices, supported by Life360, offer discreet safeguarding, helping carers and family members quickly locate their loved ones if they go missing.

Hi everyone hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day. 🥰☀️ we currently have a vacancy in our residential home. We are registered for three adults with a learning disability. The person would need to be fully mobile as the bedroom is upstairs. It’s a small family run home, and our residents live as a family. We have a very low staff turnover and most of our staff have been with us for many years. Vacancies don’t come up often at farndale, if you know anyone who might be interested please contact us on 01482 872015.
We would need to ensure that the new housemate would fit in with the two current residents as they have been in their home for a long time, so hopefully the 3 housemates would complement each other and live happily at Farndale for the rest of there years.

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own! We’re seeking to recruit some great new support workers; people with the right values and behaviour to work in our domiciliary care service – could this be you? You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker Above all we want someone that shares our values.

These are:

§ treating the people, we support with compassion
§ showing dignity and respect to the people that they will be working with
§ having trust and respect for all members of our team.
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. Our residents/service users are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. However, as a general guide, duties may include some support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and well-being such as arts and crafts, watching the footie, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
