We were delighted to welcome the incredibly talented Rosie Ann Page to Mais House, where she treated our residents to a beautiful selection of songs.
It was a heartwarming afternoon filled with music, smiles, and singalongs — our residents had a fantastic time joining in and enjoying every moment.

Thank you, Rosie, for bringing such joy to our home!

🎉 Celebrating Excellence in Our Kitchen! 🍽️

We’re incredibly proud of Stephen (Head Chef) and our amazing catering team!

Today, we welcomed a visit from our local Environmental Health Officer (EHO), and we’re thrilled to share that they were full of praise for our team and the systems we have in place.

Thanks to their dedication and high standards, we’ve been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 – Very Good once again! 🌟

Huge thanks to Marine Training Corps - Sidley / Bexhill for attending our Summer Fair last week! This is what collaboration within the local Armed Forces Community looks like!

Today our community came together to mark with a fitting service in the morning which coincided with the National Two Minutes Silence, before an afternoon of music and entertainment.

Thank you to all of our regular collaborators and friends for helping us to mark VJ Day appropriately.

Look at all those happy faces at our Summer Fair on Saturday!

And we can officially reveal that we raised a grand total of £975.00 on the day!

However, thanks to an additional donation of £25.00 from Mr Steve Legg to thank us for such a fun day (thank you Steve!) we can now HAPPILY say that we have raised a whopping £1000 for our Amenities Fund!!!

Thank you to everyone who worked together to make this possible. This money will go towards more fab trips out, enrichment materials and bringing local entertainers into our home!

Well, that’s our Summer Fair for 2025 and what a turn out! Thank you to everyone who donated prizes, volunteered to run stalls and to our wonderful staff who worked so hard!

We were delighted to welcome such a big crowd and to raise funds for our wonderful Veterans.

Photos and total funds raised will be shared next week but for now, a huge THANK YOU ♥️✨☀️

Our Residents and Staff are having a great afternoon learning sign language and signing along to music this afternoon!

Retired Cllr Lynn Langlands is teaching our Residents all the essentials - including how to ask for tea and cake! 🍰
