Our county is celebrating 80 years of victory today.
I had the privilege of tending to so many resting places of heros that fought and fell for our country.
The bravery and loyalty of the men and women that fought for our future. And the blitz spirit that kept morale high in dark times.... is truly inspirational. 🌸🌸🌸

🧼✨ After a little time away to study and grow, I’m happy to say that I’m back doing what I love — caring for headstones and preserving memories.

Thank you to those who reached out for work in my absence of advertising, it means a lot that my work and reputation spans more than my social media efforts. Over the coming weeks i will update my page with before and after photos of work i have had the pleasure of restoring over the last few months

Headstones aren’t just stone — they’re peoples stories. Names of loved ones preserved, worn by time, weather, and life.

It’s more than just cleaning for me — it’s preserving history, paying respects, honoring memory, and bringing comfort to those that visit.

What a difference a deep clean and a few days graft make!
Cleaned and lettered this lovely stone in Milton Keynes. Very pleased to have done this for such a lovely customer! 🌹🌹

We all love a progress shot and this is one shows quite nicely the stages that happen before a finished product comes about!
At the start there was some build up and loss of colour but after a deep clean this headstone is ready to be re lettered and look almost brand new again.
This lovely gravestone will be easier to spot once again against the cold winter months that are coming up! ❄️ ❄️

This lovely job was a repaint of the gold letters, including the picture in the bottom corner and it’s a simple and effective way to make this headstone clear, tidy and looked after.

Another maintenance clean completed to finish off the week and what a difference!
The headstone has had a good clean, old plants taken away and some new bulbs that will flower over the next few weeks to soak up some autumn sun alongside gradually digging out the edges to define the outline once more. This is a wonderful example of what a maintenance clean can do.

Whilst i enjoy sharing my personal deep cleans and work with you. I also enjoy learning about different cultures and customs when it comes to remembrance.

I noticed this memorial when visiting a churchyard and found myself intrigued about its incredibly sad backstory and wanted to understand hebrew mourning traditions a bit better, in order to pay my respect.

The stones resting on the top, are a common custom within jewish mourning rituals. These visitation stones symbolise respect and remembrance and are placed with the left hand by someone has come to visit the headstone.

The hebrew symbols at the bottom are an epitaph of a popular abbreviation from the hebrew bible

“May his soul be bound up in the bond of eternal life.”
