It is with a heavy heart that we all share the news that our founder and chair Margaret Miles-Bramwell passed away this morning.

Margaret dedicated her life to helping people lose weight, shedding the burden of guilt and shame that comes alongside being overweight and has spear headed Slimming World into becoming the UK's leading weight loss organisation.

If you ever met Margaret you would completely understand what the fuss was about. There was a warmth and care to her that made her sparkle and it's been a pleasure share her magic.

Sending the sincerest condolences to her children, grand children and great grandchildren. What a loss to the world, but my gosh has she left her stamp on it! 💔
