Here’s how to keep it fun, filling and affordable:
🥔 Bulk up with Free Foods
Potatoes, pasta, rice, eggs, beans, lentils, frozen veg — cheap, filling and perfect for family meals.
🍝 Cook once, eat twice
Big batch chilli → jacket potatoes next day
Roast chicken → wraps, pasta or curry
Bolognese → pasta tonight, loaded wedges tomorrow
🍓 Create a “help yourself” fruit & snack station
Wash and prep fruit so it’s the easy option (and saves you reaching for biscuits while fasting or busy 👀).
🍕 Fakeaway Friday at home
