Well, how did I get here..?

It all started about 10 years ago when a work colleague came in and said he had been and done a Hypnotherapy course. He was met with some disbelief, some ridicule but also some interested people. Me being one.

I went along for a session for my nail biting and found that it was a very pleasant experience. I came away thinking it wasn't like anything I’ve ever experienced before and totally not what I expected. I went back and told my friends and colleagues that it was really good and to give it ago. Yes my nail biting was conquered!

I saw people come and go to see my friend, even those who initially were sceptical.

My friend suggested that I would be good at being a Hypnotherapist too. I was flattered but thought, Nah..

A few years later I was involved in a motorbike accident. I was pretty banged up but I was very lucky. A few years after that I had another accident, not on a bike this time, but one that took me a while to recover with regular physio sessions and hospital visits. Then I had a family crisis which, on top of all the accidents got too much for me and I sought help with counselling for anxiety.

After the successful counselling sessions my counsellor suggested that I would be a good Life Coach or similar..and I thought “Someone else has said something like that”.

I decided to take the plunge and complete an intensive course run by the prestigious HYPNOTC training company run by Dr Kate Beavan-Marks and Rory Z, gaining my Hypnotherapy Diploma from them accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC), Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), and the British Institute of Hypnotherapy and NLP (BIH). I am also registered with the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) and fully insured with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

I’m a keen motorbiker, occasional gym user, play guitar and being a child of the 70’s, love all things Star Wars! I get a real buzz out of helping people achieve their goals and will strive to provide a top class, professional service.
