From October to March we can’t make enough vitamin D from sunlight, so to keep bones and muscles healthy, it’s best to take a daily 10 microgram supplement of vitamin D. You can get vitamin D from most pharmacies and retailers.

This week we will be welcoming Energy Projects Plus who will be talking to you about some of their initiatives and the support that may be available to keep you and your home warm this winter.

Week 5 of our Cancer Wellbeing Event takes place tomorrow Paxton Medical Group, Claughton Wed 15th October 11am-12noon. If you're living with cancer or supporting someone who is, please come and join us. It's a warm and welcoming group, refreshments provided.
Tomorrow we'll be joined by Ryan from Wirral Hospice St John's who'll be coming to speak with the group, provide support and answer any questions.

Free Family Days at The Hive 🎉

The Hive Wirral Youth Zone is launching brand new Family Days, starting Saturday 11th October. Families are invited to join every Saturday from 10am–1pm for fun, games, and activities to enjoy together. ✨

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The first session begins on Saturday 11th October.

The ADHD support group has got off to a flying start with patients receiving help and guidance from Caritas and peer to peer support! We have lots lined up for the next 8 weeks of the programme, to join the group, please call reception.

Today we had the pleasure of teaming up with Patsy from The Holistic Cancer Centre who delivered the next in our series of cancer wellbeing events for our patients. It was another superb session full of information and support.
We are so incredibly fortunate to have organisations like The Holistic cancer centre in our community. They’ve been there for over 30 years and provide over 7000 holistic sessions to patients across Wirral every year!
We wanted to share the work they do, as they’re there to support patients for the long term and are the corner stone of holistic care and support for these patients. If you’re a business and able to support the work they do, and the patients they support, your help would be appreciated.

This Wednesday we'll be joined by the Benefits Advisor from Maggie's Wirral supporting Merseyside & Cheshire for our Cancer Wellbeing Event.

Our Cancer Wellbeing Event is a weekly in person group, with visiting guest speakers providing tangible direct support to those who are living with cancer or to those who are supporting some one who is. We provide a warm welcome to anyone who would like to come and join us.
