The biscuit isn’t the problem, your response to it is 😬.

Dieting alone:
🍪 Eats one biscuit → “Day ruined” → Eats 6 more → “Starting again next Monday”.

With a coach & community:
🍪 Eats one biscuit → Coach says “it’s fine as long as within deficit” → Loses 2lbs that week anyway.

This is the difference.

It’s not willpower, it’s having someone in your corner to guide and support before you spiral.

I didn’t want to take these photos 😩🙈….and I reckon that’s the voice of every woman in the UK right now 🙋‍♀️.

Here’s the reality 👇
• The scales were actually not as bad as previous years.
• Progress in itself due to keeping activity levels high ✅.
• But the sluggish, post Christmas belly is still there. Still bloated, Still making my jeans feel like my worse enemy 🤣.

I could’ve waited and promise myself I’d take photos “when I felt better.”….. but that’s not how this works.

If I’m asking my Habit2lifestyle ladies to show up and document their starting point… I’ll be going first 💪.

This isn’t about shame, It’s collating data.
You can’t track progress if you don’t know where you began.

It may seem difficult at first… but everything is difficult at first.

This is a throwback to me trying to lat pull 45kg. I couldn’t do it, but I wanted to feel the weight and understand what I was working towards.

That’s exactly how so many weight loss journeys begin…uncomfortable, daunting, overwhelming.

But progress comes when you embed the routine and learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Practice makes progress, everyone starts as a beginner.

Foods I’ve eaten over the last week, with absolutely no guilt 👇

This is your reminder:
There are 52 weeks in the year.
Enjoying Christmas week will not ruin your progress.

None of this is my usual routine, and that’s exactly the point.
Allowing yourself to enjoy food brings balance, enjoyment, and peace 🤍.

Guilt doesn’t make you healthier.
Restriction doesn’t make you consistent.
And one week doesn’t undo a year of effort.

That’s not failure, you just enjoyed Christmas🎄.

You enjoyed good food.
You drank the fizz🥂.
You lived your life for one day.
Nothing is ruined.
Nothing needs “burning off.”

Today = water, normal meals, gentle movement, self kindness 💛.

Health is built over time, not lost in one festive day.
