💙Would you you or other caregivers looking after your baby know what to do in a first aid emergency? 💜

I am so pleased to be able to announce our first 2 hour Paediatric First Aid awareness course.
This is something I have been wanting to be able to provide for such a long time!

Come and spend 2 hours learning the skills and knowledge that means you would know what to do if the unimaginable happened. I know it is something we do not want to think about, I didn't but I am so glad I did.

Our 2 hour course delivered by MANDaid will cover
💚CPR for babies and children
💚A primary survey
💚Actions for choking
💚Accidental poisonings
💚Febrile seizures
💚Meningitis Awareness
💚Treatment of burns

First Aid mannequins will be available and everyone will get the opportunity to practise these skills as well.

All of this will be delivered by a fully qualified first aid instructor.

👩‍🦲Babies are welcome in this session and there will be some sensory toys available for them to explore. But feel free to bring a favourite from home too.

As some of you may know we now have a defibrillator on site with money raised by our wonderful customers and match funded by Bournheath Parish Council.
Mandaid who is a qualified local professional First Aid trainer will be providing a free drop in session on both Thursday 4th & Thursday 11th July from 9.30am -11.30 am. If you would like basic training on how to use a defib, pop along any time during the morning. Tea & coffee will be provided.
