These past few months have been emotional but I am lucky to have received some great support from family and friends.
2 charities in particular have been my lifeline and have reached out to help in untold ways. In memory of my late husband Stephen McLean I intend to give back by having a memory month of may. Fundraising for Fire Fighters Charity and WAY Widowed And Young
I urge you to please support where you can for these 2 amazing charities and look out for the info regarding a zumba event being hosted soon.

2 weeks ago I lost the love of my life suddenly and unexpectedly. I cannot describe the pain and hurt I feel. Does not seem real but when I remember I cannot breathe. He is with the angels until we meet again. Love you forever Steve. My love ❤️

Before and after a shave.

I let my hair grow before a visit to the dermatologist, but this shave was long overdue.

It help me to keep track of my hair loss overtime and I can easily compare my yearly photos to map areas of loss and to see if my alopecia is active.

For those of you that don't know, lichen planopilaris can have areas that flare up if it is active.

After a shave my scalp feels calmer after applying steroid cream and my wigs fit much better.

Quiet Saturday afternoon coffee on my ones before meeting my girlfriends.

I sometimes take for granted the beautiful city I live in. Sometimes, to stop, sit outdoors, relax, and watch the world go by is therapeutic.

Found this really lush coffee shop. I will be returning.

Finally back home, but felt I should share some of my many faces of Ouarzazate 2024. Had an amazing time and didn't feel down or even have time to think about my hair loss.

Sometimes, having a break from your day to day reality means a break from inside your own mind.

Refreshed, renewed, and reset.

First holiday where I have spent most of it without a wig and feeling very at peace. Put one on last night but only to keep my head warm 😃

So I have decided to try this shampoo by . Despite having scarring alopecia, I have been asked to do a review of this product.

Improving the health of your scalp leads to enormous improvements, not just to the scalp itself but also to the quality and condition of your hair and its ability to grow.

So this may be very beneficial to those with dry scalp, dandruff, flaking, irritation, spots, inflammation, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss and much more. These may all be symptoms of alopecia and could help my flare ups despite having minimal hair at present.
