Mental health illness can manifest in numbness; itโs hard to pinpoint whether itโs the drug causing this. See your GP if this happens. Antidepressants work in different ways - changing drug/dose or giving your body time can help.โ๏ธ

Side effects (headache, nausea, fatigue, sexual problems) tend to occur BEFORE you feel the benefits. These should subside with time.๐ง

No! It takes time to work: 2 weeks for anxiety, 6 weeks for depression. Allow your body enough time to respond.๐

Evidence shows this is not the case. The reason we need to taper the drug slowly when coming off them is not because youโre addicted, but to prevent side effects of sudden withdrawal - two separate things.๐โฃ
