One year postpartum, 22kg of weight loss and finally starting to feel like myself again. One thing I’ve really been focusing on is my gut health as I know the minute I have any type of stress it triggers my digestive system immensely. It hasn’t been easy and it’s definitely a journey I’m still on, but so far I’m proud of my progress ✨🤍

A little re-introduction 🫶🏽
Hey, if you don’t know me my names Ellie and I’m currently on maternity leave. I’m now 8 weeks postpartum and just this week have been signed off by my GP to get back in to the gym after suffering with Maternal Sepsis. I didn’t have the best of pregnancies or delivery for that matter. I was always in and out of hospital, so therefore I left heavy weightlifting behind for a good 10 months, whilst I carried on swimming throughout being pregnant it’s not the same as being in the gym.
As I’m slowly getting my mojo back, figuring out motherhood and every thing in between my goal is to lose 10Kg which would take me back to pre baby weight. Whilst I know I can’t be too hard on myself or throw myself in the deep end I’m ready to endure a new fitness journey and finding myself again; so here it goes 💝
