🥶 The above is Part. 1 of “Don’t Let Winter Slow You Down”.

🥶 We’ve all felt the dip in temperature outside and within ourselves which will naturally make us going into “Hibernation”. Although I agree you should sow now to reap in the real new come Spring - you have to follow the patterns of the year for YOU!

🥶 Last year I really suffered with seasonal depression and the signs were there since lockdown so this year I’ve had that in mind and looked at what I can change / be more consistent with!

🥶 The same goes for your winter - what pattern are you going to break especially going into the festive season and the “nothingness” between X-MAs Day & New Years Day!

🔥 All I know is there’s going to be nothing slow about Q1 2026 and that sets the tone so begin / remain on the ball of momentum NOW!

🥑 Your core isn’t just abs — it’s your foundation.

🥑 Yes we all want that flat - flat ironing board but a weak foundation always shows…maybe not today but definitely over time.

What a weak core looks like long-term:

+ 1 year: Lower back niggles, poor posture, slower lifts.

+ 5 years: Chronic tightness, reduced mobility, plateaued strength.

+ 10 years: You’re causing imbalances and are now compensating with everyday moving patterns, higher risk of injury,

Jamaica — my hearts been heavy this week and in deep prayer , reflection & moments of stillness!

🟡 Hurricane Melissa [Messenger] broke homes, schools, hospitals, airports but from my family in Jamaica it definitely hasn’t broke their spirit.

⚫️ My mom particularly wasn’t hit anywhere close to other parish’s who will need a full rebuild from the ground up.

🟢 Still, the energy on the island is “give thanks.” That’s the heartbeat of our people — gratitude in the face of hardship, resilience that is deep rooted.

🟡 As we pull together behind the scenes — organising aid, barrels, and support for those most vulnerable -

Natural or not, the storm is a reminder:

Even when we’re shaken - we rise.
Even when we’re tested - we give thanks.
