Chag Sameach!

Wishing all those celebrating a joyous Passover

Passover is a time of reflection, renewal and coming together with family and community. It is a moment to recognise the importance of freedom, resilience and shared humanity. Values that resonate deeply across health and care.

We are proud to celebrate the diversity of our colleagues, partners and the communities we serve.

We wish you peace, happiness and meaningful time with loved ones during this special time.

This World Autism Acceptance Month, we’re proud to stand alongside individuals, families and partners across health and care to celebrate difference and promote understanding.

Because while acceptance is important, real support starts with understanding each person’s unique needs.

There is no single autism experience.
Needs vary. Experiences are deeply individual. And standard approaches don’t always work.

At UB Healthcare, our focus is on working with our NHS partners to ensure care is person-led, person-centred, coordinated, and responsive to the whole individual, not just a diagnosis.

Through our multidisciplinary approach, we support systems to turn understanding into meaningful, lasting support for people and communities.
This month is a reminder to all of us to:
🔹 Celebrate difference
🔹 Challenge misconceptions
🔹 Build deeper understanding
Because it is through understanding that we can deliver better outcomes, better experiences and more compassionate care.

This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible women who make up the majority of the UB Healthcare team. Their compassion, expertise, leadership and resilience shape the support we provide to the individuals we serve, their families and our partners.

Today, UB Healthcare turns 4! 🎉

What started in 2022 as a conversation between two people with a shared belief that we could build a values-led organisation focused on quality, integrity and meaningful impact in complex community care delivery has grown beyond what they could have imagined.

From just Harry & Uko to welcoming our first colleagues, Mark and Saiba, to now working alongside almost 30 colleagues and over 80 associates supporting 11 ICBs, 1 Health Board and 2 Mental Health Trusts across the UK, and with ambitions to support Healthcare systems internationally to improve outcomes for people and populations with complex care needs.

We are incredibly proud of the Team we have built and deeply grateful to the partners who trust us.

Growth is important, but impact matters more. Every individual supported, every partnership strengthened, and every system improved reflects the dedication of our people.

Thank you to our Team, associates and partners for being part of the journey so far. The next chapter starts now 🚀

Last Wednesday, we brought our clinical team together for our UB Healthcare Clinical Away Day at Hogarths Hotels , and what a fantastic day it was.

As a geographically dispersed team, opportunities to come together in person are incredibly valuable. The day was focused on learning, reflection, collaboration and strengthening the quality of the services we deliver across systems.

The agenda reflected the depth and breadth of our work, including:
- Safe hospital discharge
- What good looks like in CHC assessments and reviews
- Acquired brain injury pathways
- Oncology treatments in the community and the national Cancer Plan
- Blood cancers and specialist insight
- Medication knowledge and practical governance discussions

We were privileged to hear from expert guest speakers across acute, community and specialist services, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality, person-centred practice in complex and funded care pathways.

A special thank you to Kasey, Head of Operations, Layla, Head of Clinical Operations, and Debbie, Clinical Service Delivery Manager, for organising such a well-structured and impactful day.

Feedback:
"It was very insightful! It was so good to see the team, who have a wealth of talent. Please extend my thanks to Kasey, Debbie, Layla, Harry, Maria, and everyone else. You have an amazing team ❤️"

Investing in our people strengthens our governance, our consistency and ultimately the outcomes we deliver for individuals, families and our NHS partners.

Proud of the team. Energised for the work ahead.

Last week, our founders, Uko and Harry, attended WHX Dubai, which was a powerful reminder of the scale and pace of global healthcare evolution.

The exhibition brought together an extraordinary spectrum of innovation, spanning acute care and diagnostics, digital health, AI, MedTech, pharma, robotics, personalised care, and population health. The sheer scale of the event and the quality of the conversation across the sector made it clear that healthcare systems around the world are facing shared challenges but are also pursuing bold solutions with ambition and urgency.

For UB Healthcare, Dubai was particularly meaningful. The remains the largest integrated healthcare service in the world, and the UK has developed some of the most robust legal and statutory frameworks underpinning the delivery of complex care, safeguarding individuals and protecting their rights.

There is a growing opportunity to take those learnings and translate them into health systems focused on integrating individuals with complex care needs into society, supporting them to live their lives to the fullest with dignity, independence and the right care around them.

We are excited to grow our impact and support healthcare systems and providers globally to improve outcomes for people with severe neurological conditions, spinal injuries, learning disabilities, and other long-term complex care needs.

Hear from Uko & Harry below.
