💛Tommy Update 💛

It’s been a while. We have been enjoying some festivities and had some time settling back into a routine after illness, Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Today is scan day for Tommy.

We are holding onto hope that the results bring positive news and allow him to continue on his path of healing and recovery. We are hopeful to receive the results of these scans in the next week or so.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the continued love, prayers, messages, and support—you are carrying us through this more than you know. 🙏

Tommys decided to take up cooking 🧑‍🍳

If anyone is needing a new year meal rustled up, get in touch, small fee for products only 🤣

This post may seem insignificant to some but Tommy actually ATE some of this meal after helping to make it.

Tommy’s diet has been so limited following treatment that we will take any opportunity to get him back to the food loving child he used to be pre cancer diagnosis!

First round of Tommys immunisations started again.

Following Tommys stem cell transplants, his whole immune system was re-set which includes all immunisations he had as a baby. We had to wait a year after his second transplant before we could consider re-commencing immunisations.

X3 jags today and Tommy smashed it like a boss! Another step closer to being safe to live a normal life again 🫶

Tommys first Panto ✅ SUCCESS!

Tommy was asked up onto the stage (randomly!) walked all the way around for him to refuse to go on without me 🤣

Unfortunately, Tommy’s scans have been delayed due to inflammation in his lungs caused by his recent flu. This is normal after this virus, however, the anaesthetist feels it would be too risky to put Tommy to sleep.

We’ve been told they will now take place in around three weeks.

This has been incredibly hard and frustrating news to hear (especially after fasting Tommy!) but we understand why the delay is necessary, to ensure Tommy’s safety.

For now, we will enjoy a very merry Christmas together, and praying that January 2026 brings reassuring news when his scans finally take place.

Because of your support, fairy box items, selection boxes, Christmas PJs and toys were donated to children spending Christmas in our local hospital 🎄✨

Your kindness has helped bring smiles at a really special time of year — thank you all 🤍

05/12/2025

Today is International Neuroblastoma Day.

Eighteen months have changed us forever. We carry the fear, the hope, the sleepless nights, and the tiny moments of joy that kept us going. We are endlessly grateful for the treatment and care that helped us through, and for the people who stood beside us when everything felt impossible.

But our gratitude lives alongside a deeper truth: so much more needs to be done. No family should have to face what so many of us have endured. Our children deserve gentler treatments, better options, and real hope for the future.

And we won’t stop—we won’t stop raising awareness, we won’t stop speaking up, we won’t stop fighting—until better, kinder treatments are available for every child facing neuroblastoma!

Today, our hearts are with all the warriors, the survivors, the angels 👼 and the families who carry unimaginable strength every single day.

Onwards and upwards!
