Stone House had a truly special moment recently, as our lovely resident Ruby celebrated her 90th birthday surrounded by her wonderful family.

There was afternoon tea, plenty of sunshine and even a few songs to make the day sparkle. Ruby was all smiles, and it was a joy to see her milestone marked with so much warmth and love.

Wishing Ruby the happiest of birthdays and many more joyful moments ahead. 🎉💛

🌼 Happy Easter from Stonehouse! 🐣

We had such a lovely time celebrating with an Easter coffee morning — complete with Easter‑themed cakes, tasty nibbles, and of course plenty of chocolate eggs to go around.

It was a wonderful chance to come together, share a treat or two, and enjoy some seasonal cheer with our residents and team. 💛

🎶 Fun and laughter at Stone House! 🎶
Everyone had a fantastic time this week with Kiddleydivey! The music, movement and sing‑along moments brought so many smiles, and the energy in the room was just brilliant.

It’s always lovely to see our residents enjoying themselves and joining in with such enthusiasm. We can’t wait for the next session!

🌼 Spring is in the air at Stone House! 🌼

With the sunshine making a welcome return, our residents have been busy giving the garden a little TLC. From tidying up the flowerbeds to making sure our feathered friends were well fed, it’s been a lovely morning of fresh air and teamwork.

There’s something special about seeing everyone come together to get the garden ready for the brighter days ahead. Roll on spring!

Residents at Stone House enjoyed a beautiful trip out to the Stiperstones, making the most of the sunshine and fresh air. They shared a lovely cuppa in the hills before heading off on a gentle walk, taking in the stunning views all around.

A perfect day to stretch our legs and soak up the sunshine together.

Stone house has had a flipping fantastic morning!
Staff and residents got stuck into a cosy coffee morning… followed by some seriously competitive pancake tossing.

There were pancakes flying, people laughing, and a whole lot of “creative” flipping techniques on display. A brilliant, batter‑filled start to the day!

🧀 Cheese lovers unite at Stone House! 🧀
Our residents celebrated National Cheese Day in the cheesiest way possible — with mountains of tasty, melty, utterly irresistible cheese‑based snacks. Laughter was flowing, crackers were crunching, and not a crumb of cheddar was left behind.

It was a gouda day all around — and yes, we’re still smiling about it.

Willow Unit enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch together — full of good food, laughter, and plenty of holiday cheer. Some of our residents also had a fantastic time making mince pies, adding an extra touch of homemade magic to the celebrations. ❤️🎄

🐾✨ A Boxing Day Treat at Stone House! ✨🐾

Residents at Stone House were delighted by a visit from the United Pack on Boxing Day. After gathering at the Castle Hotel, they made a special detour to Stone House — and it truly made the day magical.

The residents loved meeting the hounds, sharing smiles, stories, and plenty of festive cheer. Moments like these bring so much joy to our community and create memories that last long after the holidays.
