During this time I pursued a Master's in Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at McTimoney College of Chiropractic and 4 years later graduated from Ulster University :)

Since then, I have helped hundreds of individuals, from children, athletes, marathon runners to seniors ages within 5 to 95. I believe Chiropractic healing and added with holistic massage can truly transform a person who is injured, impaired or wants wellness care and longevity. After all the nervous system is fragile, complex and the wonder of life, we exist because of this! In the past 7 years working within Chiropractic clinics as a Chiropractic Assistant, to the in-house massage therapist for a busy high volume practice to a Spinal screener for Chiropractic clinics and a patient for a long time. I have experienced both sides of a chiropractic clinic. My vision and intention is clear... to provide and serve my community, as many people that need my services and care for optimal health and longevity! Fun truth about me;
At 20 years old, I had drive... a secret ambition to revolutionise the healthcare system in the UK and make a profound impact on the world. Today, as a primary healthcare practitioner, I'm proud to be making a positive difference in my community! I have a passion for helping people, providing a service for clients/patients to help facilitate change in their own bodies for healing, education and give advice on understanding their bodies. My focus is to improve range of motion and reach their health and well being goals, with results of feeling you can move, sleep, walk/run, jump and dance through life. There are no limits in regards to movement, optimal function, synergy when healing the mind and body is taken seriously :)

🧠🔌 Fun Fact Friday – Your Spine Is a Moving ‘Charger Cable’

Your brain and spine are constantly sending messages up and down – a bit like a charger cable carrying signals between your phone and the socket.⚡💡

When your spine moves well and your posture is supported:
• ✅ Messages travel more clearly between brain and body
• ✅ Muscles, joints and organs get better information
• ✅ Your nervous system can feel calmer and more efficient

But when we’re slouched over phones or laptops ALL DAY (hello forward head posture 😅"text neck"):
• ⚠️ The neck and upper back work harder
• ⚠️ Muscles tighten and fatigue
• ⚠️ Signals along that “cable” can become more strained

Little daily choices help keep your spine and nervous system happy – movement, posture breaks, breathing, and (when needed) good chiropractic care. 🙌

👅🧠 Fun Fact Saturday – Your Tongue Is Part of Your Posture🤩👀

This graphic shows two very different stories:

➡️ Left: Low tongue + mouth-breathing
• Head drifts forwards
• Extra strain through the neck and upper back

➡️ Right: Tongue resting on the roof of the mouth + nasal breathing
• Helps support jaw and neck muscles
• Can encourage a clearer airway and calmer breathing

Try this mini reset:
1️⃣ Lips gently closed, teeth softly apart
2️⃣ Rest the whole tongue on the roof of your mouth, just behind the front teeth
3️⃣ Breathe slowly in and out through your nose for 1–2 minutes

Notice if your jaw, neck or shoulders feel a little softer afterwards.😃

Here we have another 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google review from my lovely patient Victoria – have a read of her experience and what changed for her neck, shoulders and overall wellbeing.

Victoria first came to see me with **recurring trapezius and neck muscle strain** – tight, overworked shoulders and a nervous system that was finding it hard to switch off. She is a busy woman running a household, full time job and family life.

From her initial consultation we created a tailored care plan including:
✨ Myofascial techniques (dry needling, soft-tissue work & MET)
✨ Precise chiropractic adjustments to the **neck, upper back and pelvis**
✨ Simple nervous-system education and home advice she could actually use

Just got home from work or winding down before bed?
Your **eyes and neck muscles are wired together** in your brain – all that screen time means extra work for your neck, shoulders and upper back.

Give yourself **5–8 minutes this evening** to:

* Look up from your phone, laptop screen📱
* Gently move your eyes side to side (keeping your nose still)
* Roll your shoulders, stretch and let your spine move

✨Here we are wrapping up a transformative 2025 by practising a bit more Wu Wei (無為) – less forcing, more flowing ✨ (feat. my two skeletons🥰😆)

What are 3 things you’re grateful for as we close out this year? 🌙Get a pen and paper write it down and smile...

My top 3 things I’m grateful for this year:

1️⃣ Becoming a small business owner and taking that, brave leap on my own 🚀
2️⃣ Helping everyday people in my community with their aches, pains and worries – and being trusted with their health 💛🦴
3️⃣ Turning inwards and noticing how much I’ve actually achieved, choosing more Wu Wei in my daily life instead of piling pressure on my future self 🌿

I’m also so grateful for:
⭐ Every single 5⭐ google review and kind word from patients – it means the world.
🚶‍♀️ Long walks around Cheltenham, keeping my 10–20k steps a day – especially the Malverns and those panoramic views from Cleeve Hill.
Nature has been my nervous-system reset this year 🌄

• Extra time on the sofa sitting🛋️

Movement is medicine:
• Walking helps your digestion get going again 💨
• Cool, fresh air can ease that heavy, “chesty” feeling and opens up your lungs 🌬️🫁
• Focusing on your breathing as you walk (in through the nose, out through the mouth) helps calm your body and mind 😌
• Joints start to move more freely and muscles wake back up 🦴
• Calm, rhythmic movement = calmer nervous system 🧠💛

Wishing you good health, plenty of laughs and as little back pain as possible this Christmas – especially when you’re lifting children, pets or the turkey 🦃, reaching under the tree 🎁 and stretching across the table for “just one more” roast potato 😉

Spending time with people you love boosts your happy hormones 😊 and helps balance your nervous system 🧠 – so soak it up, laugh lots and get out walking 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
Even a good stretch off the sofa 🛋️ gets your spine moving nicely again! 🦴

This is the time to share the amazing feedback from our patients ... another 5* google review 😍

🌟Each week, I'll be highlighting one of the fantastic experiences a patient has had with chiropractic & reflexology care here at J.A Chiropractic & Wellbeing. 🌟

Kyle came to see me looking for lower back pain relief and better movement/exercises to support his recovery . As a busy working man running his own business, his lower body was constantly working tightness, sore back and lack of flexibility – leading to tiredness, aching and stiffness by the end of most days.

After a thorough consultation and examination, we put a care plan in place with several sessions and review appointments. Using a combination of dry needling, soft tissue work, cranial work, and gentle chiropractic adjustments lower and upper body, we focused on reducing tension, improving neck rage of motion and mobility, supporting his nervous system. 🧠🫁

Now, Kyle is pain free, his mobility is 90% better, he's back to picking up his young son pain free and able to get back to doing a full work week moving well and the enjoying the exercises.👏🥳

It's so rewarding to see our patients feel better and stronger!
