🌸 Magnolia Tea: A Calm in Every Sip 🌸

Looking for something soothing, floral, and a little different? Magnolia tea might be your new favourite ritual. In abundance around this time of year .
Known for its delicate aroma and calming properties, this tea has been used for centuries to promote relaxation and ease stress.
✨ Why try magnolia tea?
• Naturally calming and helps reduce anxiety
• May support better sleep
• Light, floral taste with a subtle sweetness
🍵 How to make magnolia tea at home:
Ingredients:
1–2 teaspoons dried magnolia flowers (or a few fresh petals, pesticide-free)
1 cup hot water
Honey or lemon (optional)
Steps:
Bring water to just below boiling.
Place the magnolia flowers in a cup or teapot.
Pour hot water over the flowers.
Let it steep for 5–10 minutes.
Strain, then add honey or lemon if you like.
🌿 Sip slowly, breathe deeply, and let the gentle floral notes help you unwind.

✨ New Gentle Hatha Yoga Class

Looking for a slower, more mindful way to move your body?

This is yoga as it should be no fast flows, no heat, no gimmicks. Just gentle Hatha yoga, focused on helping you reconnect, restore, and rebalance.
No competition, this is a yoga for everybody.

Perfect for:
• Beginners
• Anyone wanting more movement without intensity
• Those navigating perimenopause or menopause
• Men (yes, yoga is for you, too!)

This class is about more than just movement. Together we’ll explore breathwork and also allow ourselves permission to rest and gently calm the nervous system. In a fast-paced world, this is your space to slow down , a moving meditation to simply be and switch off for an hour.
No fancy leggings are required. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
We will end with a beautiful savasana that sometimes will include a little sound but always rest and some silence. 🤍

It moved like the land itself given and returned, shared, and renewed.
Today I remember that compassion begins within, but it does not end there.🩷🙏
To tend my own heart is to learn how to tend another’s gently.
To speak kindly to myself is to soften my voice toward the world.
I honour love, not just romance, but kinship.

Beneath the last Full Snow Moon,
Imbolc stirs.
The earth is still cold,
but the bones of spring are dreaming.
This moon lights the threshold,
where winter loosens its grip
and the first flame is struck in the dark.
This last part of the year of the Snake, we are called to shed without apology.
Old skins split quietly.
Truth slides free.
What was heavy is left behind in the snow.
This is not the season of bloom,
it is the season of becoming.
Of tending embers.
Of listening to what coils and waits within.
Mark what you are ready to release.
Name what you will protect as it grows.
The light is returning.
Slowly. Surely. Inevitably.

Endeniht ( The Closing of Yule)

Tonight, we bring the Twelve Nights to a close.
We look back with gratitude, release what we no longer need,
and carry forward only what serves the heart.
Yule teaches us that every ending is also a turning — a quiet doorway between the deep winter nights and the slow return of the light.
Blessing for the night.
I thank what has been, and let it go.
I shall not be making resolutions and putting pressure on myself , we are still in a time for wintering, January should be a time of reflection maybe writing down goals for the year but not giving ourselves too much to do. I am not going to go out with a bang tonight, we shall instead quietly be grateful for the past year and all we have accomplished and let the new year creep in with new hope and gratitude 🙏
May this night be one of soft endings, honest reflection,
and steady hope for the year ahead. 🕯️🌑
Whatever you are doing tonight or however you are celebrating, I wish you all the most wonderful evening and a magical year ahead. ✨️

On Frīðniht we lay down old burdens, ease grudges, and quiet the noise inside the mind.
