Delighted that my poster on "Establishing an MSK Ultrasound Community of Practice" has been accepted for presentation at the Physiotherapy Annual National Conference 2025.
This project reflects a growing need to bring together clinicians with an interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound—creating a space for collaboration, shared learning, and professional development.
Looking forward to connecting with others at the CSP conference in Wales in November who are passionate about advancing MSK ultrasound practice.

🔹 Success Story from our US Guided Injection Clinic🔹

Last week we helped a 61-year-old keen runner who had been struggling with 4 months of persistent knee pain and swelling following a twisting injury. 🏃‍♂️

An X-ray showed mild osteoarthritis, and while his symptoms initially improved, they had plateaued. He described a tight, swollen sensation behind the knee that was preventing him from running.

🧠 A diagnostic ultrasound revealed a large Baker’s cyst—a fluid-filled swelling behind the knee, often linked with underlying joint issues.

✅ We carried out an ultrasound-guided aspiration, removing an impressive 75ml of fluid, followed by a corticosteroid injection to reduce inflammation and help prevent recurrence.

📈 The result? Immediate symptom relief and a return to running just one week later!
