We had the most wonderful day welcoming Dartmoor Alpacas into our home 🦙💛

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for a cuppa and a slice of cake while spending time with our very special visitors, Hagrid and Thunderbolt.
Your presence made the day even more meaningful, and we are so grateful for the donations to Dementia UK.

Seeing the smiles on our residents’ faces was truly priceless. Animal visits like this bring so many benefits, especially for those living with dementia.
Gentle interactions with animals can help reduce anxiety, spark memories, encourage communication, and create moments of joy and connection.
The calming presence of Hagrid and Thunderbolt gave everyone a chance to relax, engage, and simply enjoy the moment.

Thank you again to everyone who made this day so special - we can’t wait to do it again! 💕

We had such a wonderful afternoon, filled with smiles, music and plenty of joy!
Ellen and George shared a lovely dance with our residents, which brought so many happy faces to the room.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the amazing music and joined in for a fantastic sing-along to Patrick’s singing.
