Topic: Why do I feel so sensitive lately?

Me:
Why do I feel so sensitive lately?

Angel:
What do you mean by sensitive?

Me:
Everything feels louder. News hits harder. Conversations sit with me longer. Even small comments linger.

Angel:
Sensitivity is not weakness. It is awareness without armour.

Me:
It feels inconvenient.

Angel:
Because you are used to coping by numbing.

Me:
That is true.

Angel:
When you begin healing, your nervous system stops running on survival mode. You start feeling things you previously pushed aside.

Me:
So I am not getting worse?

Angel:
You are getting clearer.

Me:
It makes me question myself though. Am I overreacting? Am I too much?

Angel:
Those questions often come from environments that rewarded you for being less.

Me:
Less emotional. Less vocal. Less affected.

Angel:
Exactly.

Me:
So what is actually happening?

Angel:
You are recalibrating. Your tolerance for disrespect is lower. Your empathy is sharper. Your body alerts you faster when something is off.

Me:
That sounds positive.

Angel:
It is. But it requires management.

Me:
How?

Angel:
Protect your input. You do not need to consume every headline. Choose who you spend time with intentionally. Rest when your body signals overload.

Me:
So I do not have to toughen up?

Angel:
No. You need regulation, not hardening.

Me:
What is the difference?

Angel:
Hardening shuts down. Regulation allows you to feel without drowning.

Me:
That makes sense.

Angel:
Sensitivity guided by boundaries becomes discernment.

Me:
So this is growth?

Angel:
Yes. You are more in tune. That requires care.

Me:
I thought I was becoming fragile.

Angel:
You are becoming conscious.

Me:
That feels better.

Angel:
Good. Honour it instead of criticising it.

Conversations with the Angels

Topic: Do angels actually hear me?

Me:
Be honest. Do you actually hear us when we talk to you?

Angel:
Every time.

Me:
Even when it is messy? When it is not a proper prayer?

Angel:
Especially then.

Me:
What about when I am angry? Or doubting? Or saying I am not even sure you are real?

Angel:
We hear that too.

Me:
So I do not have to say the right words?

Angel:
There are no right words. There is only sincerity.

Me:
Sometimes I feel like I am just talking to the ceiling.

Angel:
You measure response by noise. We often answer in shifts.

Me:
What does that mean?

Angel:
A calmer thought. A different reaction. A sudden solution. A conversation that comes at the right time. A door that quietly opens.

Me:
So you do not always answer the way I expect?

Angel:
Rarely.

Me:
That is frustrating.

Angel:
You ask for peace but expect fireworks. You ask for guidance but expect voices.

Me:
So how do you actually communicate?

Angel:
Through nudges. Repetition. Intuition. Patterns that feel too aligned to ignore. Sometimes through other people. Sometimes through delays.

Me:
Delays?

Angel:
Protection often feels like postponement.

Me:
That changes how I see a lot of things.

Angel:
We are not absent when things are quiet. We are often most active in the unseen.

Me:
What about when I feel nothing?

Angel:
Your feelings are not the only measure of connection. We do not leave when you are distracted. We do not withdraw when you doubt.

Me:
So I have not been talking to myself all these years?

Angel:
You have been heard more than you realise.

Me:
Why do some people seem to feel you so clearly?

Angel:
Comparison distorts connection. Each human senses differently. Some feel warmth. Some receive thoughts. Some simply notice timing shifts.

Me:
So if I am asking for a sign?

Angel:
Be open to it arriving in a form you did not script.

Me:
And if I miss it?

Angel:
We are patient.

Me:
That is comforting.

Angel:
We are consistent. Not loud. Consistent.

Me:
So you really are there?

Angel:
Closer than you think. Quieter than you expect. More involved than you can see.

Me:
I needed that.

Angel:
Then receive it.

Morning, how are we all? Did you have a nice weekend?
I popped along with a friend to the Cove Glasgow, Holistic, craft and Psychic Fayre yesterday. They had lots of different stalls. Then we headed to a coffee shop for some lunch. A lovely few hours of much needed connection.
