We are proud to share that our DESMOND programme living with is now live ‼️

DESMOND (Diabetes Education and Self-Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagnosed) is a national programme dedicated to providing support and self-management tools for people with Type 2 Diabetes. 🍇🧡

These interactive workshops give you and other members of the group a welcoming space to participate in hands on activities and learn from each other. People living with diabetes, talking about diabetes. You'll be able to add to what you already know and learn from other people’s experiences. 🙋‍♀️

Who;
* aged 55-74
* current smoker or former smoker

What;
* Initial tel assessment with a nurse
* High risk offered a CT scan

Why;
* If caught early lung cancer is much more treatable.
* Over three quarters diagnosed through screening have been caught at stages 1 and 2.
* It could save your life.
