What a day of connection, care, and community! We're proud to have represented Community Pharmacy Lancashire and South Cumbria (CPLSC) at this fantastic outreach event, spotlighting the crucial role of community pharmacies as core pillars of primary care.

💚 From Pharmacy First, blood pressure checks, and contraception services to New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations, we showcased the breadth of NHS healthcare offerings that your local pharmacy provides — right at the heart of the community.

Grateful to be part of a shared mission to improve access, empower residents, and build healthier lives across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Monday Motivation 💪

Kellie came to our Wellbeing Service feeling low and overwhelmed. After a chat with her GP, she was referred to the Weight Management and Supervised Gym sessions.

At first, Kellie nervous about the gym and joining new groups. But the team made her feel safe and she even met someone else going through the same journey.

Over 12 weeks, Kellie’s confidence has grown. She’s made healthy food swaps, learned portion control, and brought her family along for the ride. They’re walking more, cooking better meals, and supporting each other’s health.

'Mentally, I am in a MILES better place than I was just 12 weeks ago, the difference is astonishing. I’ve lost some weight, and I feel loads fitter and more toned, I feel like clothes are fitting me better and every day tasks are much easier.'
Her knee pain is gone, and she hasn’t needed painkillers in weeks!

Deliberately designed to fit in with the busy lives of parents, grandparents.. this training course is more than the dental health of our children, it opens the doors to being confident at speaking about any health challenge. Who knows where it will lead you ?????

This is a 2 day event on the16th and 17th July 2024 from 10am-2.00pm.
