Every week, residents from across our 11 care homes join an online meet-up to share stories, have a sing-along and make new friends.

Leslie, Noir and Tony's Outing to Bents Garden Centre. 🎃

We started with lunch in the cafe before exploring the Christmas and Halloween displays. We loved chatting to people and were lucky enough to meet some friendly dogs for cuddles too.

Tony was in his element. He absolutely loves Halloween and enjoyed choosing decorations for his room.

The kind of day with lovely conversation and lots of laughter that make these outings so worthwhile.

🧶☕ We loved our recent trip to Oswaldtwistle Mills with Dorothy and William.

We enjoyed browsing the shops, sharing stories and taking time to enjoy tea and cake together.

Research shows that regular community outings like this play an important role in maintaining confidence, connection and cognitive wellbeing. Bollywood Dancers & Dinner, Sunday 22nd September. 🌸💃

Proud to be part of Each Other Care’s Summer of Reminiscing. 🥰

🌞 Summer Reminiscence at Each Other Care.

As part of our Summer of Reminiscing, we’ve been revisiting holiday memories that shaped our residents’ lives and recreating those moments in our homes and beyond. From French holidays to seaside trips, these experiences have been brought back through food, music and themed events.

Research shows that reminiscence therapy sparks happy memories, boosts wellbeing and strengthen connections. For many, summer holidays are treasured experiences and revisiting them helps create meaningful moments for everyone who lives with us.

We can't wait to share our stories with you.

A wonderful day out and about.🥰

We started the morning shopping for shoes and slippers before stopping off for a pub lunch. Back at White Ash Brook, the fun continued with tea, conversation and games.

Days like this are important because they give residents the chance to make their own choices, enjoy everyday routines, and share new experiences with new friends.

🎤 A fun day of karaoke with our care home neighbours! 🎤

We had such a lovely time when Louise and the residents from White Ash Brook came over for karaoke in the lounge. Everyone took turns with the microphone singing their favourite songs.

It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun together. Days like this show us how nice it is when our care homes get together to enjoy each other's company.
