The Dad Chat Café is BACK! 🎉

Time to swap sleep-deprivation stories, debate the true meaning of “I’ll do it in a minute,” and enjoy a hot coffee (for at least 30 seconds before it goes cold 😅).

Whether you're a seasoned dad or just figuring out which way round the nappy goes — come down, grab a brew, and have a laugh with the crew.

No pressure, no RSVP, just good coffee and even better company.

Met the TikTok legend Alistair Almond today 🙌

Had a great chat and got to introduce him to what we’re doing at Dad Matters – supporting dads, creating spaces to talk, and making sure no one feels like they’re going through things alone.

Genuinely one of the nicest blokes you could meet. The work he’s done for Blackburn and the community is class 👏

Now I just need him to open a coffee shop so I can bring the dads I work with down for a brew and a proper catch up ☕️

Keep smashing it mate – hope the great work continues 💙

Had a great time visiting the Preston and Burnley campuses to speak with the student midwives about Dad Matters. 💬

It was inspiring to talk with the future midwives who will be at the heart of supporting families during pregnancy and birth. We had some brilliant discussions about the role dads and partners play during pregnancy, and how important it is that they feel seen, included and supported too.

When dads feel confident and involved, it doesn’t just support mums – it supports babies and helps strengthen the whole family unit. 👶🤍

These students will soon be the professionals welcoming new families into the world, and it’s encouraging to see how open they are to engaging dads and recognising the difference that makes.

Thanks for the warm welcome and thoughtful conversations – the future of family-centred care is in good hands. 🙌
