My entire life I have been told that I am too loud. I could literally give 100 examples. I used to feel like this was a bad thing. I really tried to be quieter. But the older I got, the more I realized that we need loud women. If you’re a woman reading this, loud women are the reason you have the rights that you have today. They’re the reason you can have a bank account. They’re the reason you can have an education and they’re the reason you can VOTE. So on international women’s day, here’s to the LOUD women. May we be them, may we know them, and may we RAISE THEM. (And if you know my daughters, you know I am.) Anyway, I am with my equally as loud best friends today and I’m forever grateful for the amazing ✨women✨ in my life.
