What a beautiful bunch of ladies sweating hard and all being trained by the incredible Di from boxing, Den Haag. Not only is she passionately help us to build strong muscles and bones to support us in our adult years, she teaches us to build a strong resilience and to claim our place in this world and to bold in creating our dreams and desires. She's a force to be reckoned with and I cannot recommend her enough if your feeling stuck and fatigued and wish for a great community of women who all want the same goal to be strong physically and mentally! ♥️🙏

Can you imagine sitting in this beautiful tranquil place, reading a book or simply staring out the window at the majestic mountains of Scotland, feeling the presence of the wild nature and perhaps being lucky to spot a stag or deer in the distance. Meanwhile, I'm in the kitchen cooking up a storm of delicious, hearty, Scottish scran that will comfort your whole being and Julie Scott is getting her props ready for the next fun workshop that allows your voice to be free and expressed.

This is only a small snippet of the fun we're going to have at our retreat in Persie House, Perthshire. The backdrop of the Cairngorms offers an array of exhilarating activities, including hiking, climbing, fishing, and skiing. Nature enthusiasts will find themselves immersed in the captivating beauty of the rugged peaks, expansive forests, and lochs. On your free time, throughout the week, there will be plenty to do and see to fill your cup!

Audrey worked with NCIM (National Centre for Integrative Medicine, Bristol, UK) throughout 2022 - 2023, to deliver online cookery sessions to students and staff of both University of Bristol and University of Bath. This was thanks to a grant awarded by the Earthsong Foundation to support the mental and emotional wellbeing of students, as statistics had shown that more and more students were reporting mental health issues in the UK.

NCIM is passionate about connecting with communities through nutrition, and Audrey had joined our Clinical Integrative Team as a Nutritional Therapist offering online consultations, and had extensive experience delivering online cookery sessions.

Together with Audrey we delivered a series of 3-week online Food for Mood courses, 2-hours long, which included live cooking demonstrations, with students cooking along and sharing the meal at the end of the session together. The sessions were interactive and Audrey responded to questions as we were cooking. Audrey has a very open and approachable manner and communicated with ease with the students. She was instrumental in pulling together the recipes and sharing the health benefits of all the ingredients. We focused on stress and the effect on the body, the gut microbiome and the link to mood, pre-and probiotics and sustainable changes, i.e. meal planning, freezing, cooking with friends/family etc. Feedback was very positive from both the students and the University.

It was a pleasure to work with Audrey. She brought a lovely energy to the sessions and held the space very well. She shared her knowledge in a way that was easy to understand and put together healthy and nutritious meals. She always had top tips to share - I will never forget that she said we should see our gut microbiome as friends and that a simple tip of changing the oil you cook with during the week will contribute to eating a variety of 30 plant-based foods per week!

Thank you NCIM for such a wonderful testimonial. These valuable cooking lessons and health awareness workshops are the very thing that's needed to change the world health trajectory in combating chronic disease, obesity and mental health problems among young people. But we need much, much more of them to even make a dent in this massive problem!!!

Over the years, I've heard so many people tell me that Scotland is a place they've always wanted to explore. To feel the magic of the mountains and forests and to step back in time like Claire Fraser from Outlander 😂 Well maybe we can help you with some of that.
Today, Julie Scott and I spent the afternoon searching for the perfect location to host our 1week retreat in our beautiful home country. The week will be geared towards discovering your unique vocal sound and how to use this incredible instrument to speak/sing your truth. Along side this, I will be providing fun nutrition activities and delicious meals to nourish your fabulous voice boxes.
