We were delighted to welcome Gizmo back to Whitecliffe House 🐾

The therapy dog from Helpful Hounds Charity spent time with residents, bringing plenty of smiles along the way. Residents also enjoyed chatting with his owner and giving Gizmo a few treats - which he very much appreciated! 😊

We’re already looking forward to his next visit in April 💙

An afternoon of elegance, celebration and pure joy.

Residents and team members came together for a truly special Oscars event, a whole-home occasion filled with style, laughter and meaningful moments.

The afternoon began with a red-carpet welcome, as residents and staff paused for photographs, dressed at their very best. Glasses of Prosecco and beautifully presented canapés set the tone, before the unmistakable sound of ‘Swinging Sinatra’ filled the room with timeless classics.

A highlight of the celebration was the awards ceremony, recognising the unique personalities and contributions within the home. From ‘Most Stylish’ to ‘Most Likely to Say Something Funny’, and the heartfelt ‘Staff Above & Beyond’ award.

The event concluded with a charity raffle in support of Nourish Blandford.

A wonderful reminder that living well is not just about care, but about creating moments worth celebrating.

A lovely afternoon with therapy dog Gizmo 🐾

Residents at Whitecliffe House recently enjoyed a visit from Gizmo, with plenty of treats, cuddles, and chats about pets. We’re delighted that Gizmo will now be visiting monthly - residents are already looking forward to seeing him again!

Getting creative for Chinese New Year at Whitecliffe 🐉🎨

Residents coloured dragons and snakes, choosing their own colours and designs. Joan picked blues, purples, and black for her dragon and was very pleased with the result.

A calm and colourful afternoon, with more festive crafts to come!

A local community larder and foodbank, Nourish helps people through times of crisis with food, money advice, and support.

We were proud to recently present a cheque to Teddy20, our 2025 Charity of the Year, following a year of fundraising at Whitecliffe House.

Thanks to the enthusiasm of our residents, the support of families and friends, and the dedication of our team, we raised an incredible amount... and had a lot of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising activities and helped make this possible.

A splash of colour at Whitecliffe House 🌷💛

Residents brightened a grey afternoon by arranging pink, yellow, and white tulips. Everyone worked together to trim and prepare the flowers, creating beautiful displays for the dining room.

It was a cheerful, hands-on activity full of smiles, conversation, and teamwork — a perfect way to bring a little bit of spring inside!

A cosy afternoon out for our Whitecliffe residents 🚌🎶

Wrapped up warm, everyone enjoyed a relaxed trip to Shaftesbury, stopping along Park Walk for tea and biscuits. To celebrate Elvis Presley’s birthday, we added a fun quiz — with some excellent teamwork on display!

On the journey home, the bus was filled with singing as residents joined in with Elvis favourites.
