Located in the heart of Cornwall, Cabilla is an upland hill farm at the start of a new chapter. Our goal is to connect you with the restorative power of nature, helping you to switch off in the quiet of the Cornish countryside and find happiness amongst the wilderness. Experience more than 80 acres of ancient oak woodland, famous for its air-purifying lichens. Press pause in wildflower meadows full of butterflies and walk alongside flowing rivers, which are pure enough to drink from and to bathe in. The farm is situated deep within one of the UK’s very few dark sky environments, so there is no unnatural light or sounds from aircraft or traffic, and at night you’ll see an abundance of stars – it’s a calm and uniquely wild place.

We are delighted to share the news that has been shortlisted in the Wainwright Prize for Our Oaken Bones.

Named in honour of Alfred Wainwright, writer, walker, and champion of the outdoors, the Wainwright prizes were established in 2013 to spotlight the growing genre of nature writing and inspire readers to connect more deeply with the natural world. It celebrates the storytellers helping us to better understand our place in the natural world and the urgent need to protect it.

Huge congratulations from all of us to all of the other very well deserving nominees, such an incredible achievement.

Our beautiful barn space — a little touch of quiet luxury whilst surrounded by nature 🍃

The barns are home to our library, brimming with books and cosy nooks for you to whistle away an afternoon 📚

You’ll also find our kitchen and dining space, where guests can share beautiful locally sourced produce around our fallen monkey puzzle tree dining table 🍅🍴

And finally, our yoga and meditation spaces; a space for you to create your own magic whilst here on retreat at Cabilla 🪄

The central hub for all of our retreats, we love seeing our guests and hosts making this space their own for each retreat 🌙
