🦋💙Fabulous Equinox Info from the wonderful Wyn Abbot

The Spring Equinox marks the first day of Spring 🐇 a time of equilibrium and balance, and in celebration, the Sun has shone all day ☀️

To our ancestors, the Spring Solstice marked the time when depleted food stocks began to be replenished, when barren ground became alive with signs of growth, and animals were growing and gaining strength. Cultures across the world celebrated the Spring Equinox, welcoming the return of the Sun. Ancient temples, monuments and pyramids would be aligned incredibly accurately to ensure the moment of the Equinox was captured, adding power and mysticism to the experience. Every year at thousands of spiritual places across the globe, people gather to view and experience this pinnacle point on the calendar.

In Mexico the Spring Equinox marks the beginning of Spring, it is a time when people would gather to witness the spectacle at the 79-foot pyramid Chichen Itza, known as the Return of the Sun Serpent, a time to rejoice that the winter months are behind, and the Sun has returned to the land bringing with it a period of growth. The shadows created by the sun as it creeps down the 91 steps of the pyramid is likened to a serpent until it reaches and joins a giant serpent’s head at the base. This phenomenon, which lasts for five hours was used as symbol of power, it was believed to be the God Kukulcan depicted as a feathered serpent who would come down to the Earth and would descend down the Pyramid. Kukulcan was a creator God; it was he who would bring the wind and the rain and would be celebrated for bringing forth a good harvest.

A Hindu festival which is one of colour and vibrance is Holi, celebrating the victory of good over evil, light over dark. It is known as the Festival of Colours, and is one of celebration, fun and throwing brightly coloured powders over each other. The colours represent the elements of nature, and human emotions. Yellow to symbolise new beginnings, red symbolises love and fertility, green, symbolises the beginning of Spring and new growth, and blue is associated with the Krishna, the God of Love and Compassion. 🦋A Phase of very deep transition is taking place for you.
This is when you can transcend those limitations others may have set for you, stop allowing your fears and your ego to decide the steps of your "Dance with the Universe".
Now is a new phase of inspired ideas.
🦋SHIVA, the Indian Warrior God who destroys fear, wants to reawaken your connection to life itself, as he guides you towards a path that's clearer and more positive.
Even if fear rises too; it can fade.
Trust your intuition, welcome a "new dance" and follow the steps.
Flow with life instead of fearing it, and epiphanies are possible.
The past is done. Welcome new chances for light filled days.
This is the point where you can move towards knowing exactly what you need to do, to get to exactly where you need to be.
