📞 Telephone System Update

Due to a change in the structure of our telephone system, the order of our menu options has been slightly updated. Please see the new options below:

🔹 Option 1: Cancellations (if you wish to rebook, please select Option 3)
🔹 Option 2: for Hospital or care agencies to contact us.
🔹 Option 3: Reception – including appointments, sick notes, and registration queries
🔹 Option 4: Private medical reports
🔹 Option 5: Secretaries – to discuss ongoing referrals

🩺 New Vaccine Update – MMRV Now Available

We’d like to remind our patients and families that the MMRV vaccine (Measles, Mumps, Rubella & Varicella/Chickenpox) has rolled out this month and is now available as part of the recommended childhood immunisation schedule.

🔹 MMRV is a combined vaccine, protecting against four diseases in a single injection.
🔹 Please note that these vaccines cannot be given separately when using the MMRV formulation.

🎄 It’s Christmas Jumper Day at the surgery!
This year, our staff have chosen to support St Wilfred’s Hospice and will be making donations to this wonderful charity.
We know times are tough, but if anyone has a few spare pennies they’d like to donate to a very worthy cause, we’d be incredibly grateful 💛

Since November, we’ve been hosting Adult Colouring Sessions every Thursday — and we’d love for you to join us!

Adult colouring is a great way to keep those fine motor skills sharp, unwind, and enjoy some friendly social time. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, or you know someone who would benefit from the social interaction, please help spread the word!

We have delicious cupcakes and biscuits for sale — all individually wrapped, so grab yours while they last! 🍰

We’re so grateful for all the amazing donations we’ve already received, and every contribution is truly appreciated. 💗

Notice: Temporary Surgery Closure for Protected Learning Time (PLT)

Please note that our surgery will be closed this afternoon from 12:30 pm for essential staff training.
• For urgent medical issues: Please contact the Urgent GP Service on 01293 698088 (between our closure times 12.30-6.30pm)
• Life-threatening emergencies: Hang up and dial 999 immediately.
• Test results or prescriptions: Please call back when we reopen on Thursday 9th October.
• Non-urgent enquiries: Visit our website or speak to your local pharmacy for advice.

You can also contact NHS 111, who have details of our closure and can direct you to the most appropriate service.

The Urgent GP Service can provide:
• Telephone consultations with a GP
• Face-to-face appointments if required
• GP home visits when necessary
