The sun coming in through the window
The smell of spring in the air
And my first ever chin stand
It’s a good day 🌷
Show up without expectations, move with softness and grace. If something doesn’t feel good, don’t do it, don’t rush, we want to release tension, not create it.
I’ve tried chinstand in the past, and have always felt like it was going to break my teeth, so I didn’t do it, I practice yoga to feel gooood ✨
Today I tried with blocks for support and lifted off the ground, I then realised my shoulders weren’t even touching the blocks and tried without and it just happened. It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of it.
I’ve practiced this with blocks, a wheel, the wall, and this is post teaching + half an hour of free flow. It doesn’t happen overnight. Don’t rush, enjoy the journey, use props & be proud of your practice, wherever you’re at.
