Come and take a deep dive with me 🌀

Working from the root to the crown, from the earth to the universe, bringing harmony to the mind and body. Join me for my ‘balancing the chakras workshop’ as we learn what the chakras are, when they’re out of balance and tools to guide them into alignment.

We’ll move through an embodied blend of vinyasa flow and slower flow, learning as we move, with periods of stillness to absorb and soak it all in.

Like all my classes, there’ll be heaps of options so it truly is open to all levels and abilities. Whether you’re totally new or wanting to dive deeper 🌊

Kami is an amazing brand, making super soft and comfy activewear from recycled ocean plastics. Katie has a degree in Marine Biology and is probably the most fashionable person with a science degree there is 💁‍♀️ and so naturally her brand is super chic, high quality and actually helps the ocean with every purchase 🌊

So come and check it out anytime from 2pm - 5pm with a free, water element themed yoga flow 3 - 4pm.
Suitable for all levels and abilities, total beginners are welcome. (Limited space available for the yoga class so get there early to grab a mat!)

Ashtanga Workshop this Saturday!
3 - 5:30pm (also available online)

Ashtanga Yoga is one of the oldest forms of yoga, it’s an ancient system of postures and set sequences designed to connect breath and movement. It’s a challenging, energising, yet meditative form of yoga.
This workshop will be an introduction to the primary series of Ashtanga, exploring the core asanas and establishing a calm rhythm of ujjayi breath. The workshop will also include key elements of the Ashtanga system, bandhas, drishti, philosophy and mantra.
We’ll begin warming up and opening up the body, then moving through a modified primary series sequence, and ending with a sweet, soothing savasana. There’ll be time in this workshop to explore different variations and modifications for both beginners and intermediate yogis.
Find calm and balance in the body and mind, allowing the flow to be a moving meditation.

Whether you’re an experienced yogi in need of a refresher or a total newbie interesting in trying Ashtanga yoga, but find images online or the idea of jumping straight into a class daunting then this workshop is for you.

Props will be available for use (I wouldn’t be where I am now without props!) and this will be a totally relaxed, judgement free zone for you to explore your practice and reconnect with your breath and body.

When we practice yoga, we practice giving ourselves the space to observe the thoughts/emotions that arise. Sometimes thoughts are heavier or darker but thoughts are just thoughts, they aren’t who are you are. Allow yourself to feel each and every emotion.

Don’t cut yourself off from your full spectrum of emotions. Let it flow through you, feel it, mooove through it.

Spending an hour of your day on the mat releasing, feeling and observing, helps those other 23 hours in the day will feel a little lighter 🕊

Hope everyone’s had a fab Easter.
Ease back into the week and join me tomorrow morning for a bank holiday sloooow flow, 9:30 to 10:30am
It’s gonna be super soothing, lazy, and dreamy. Gently re-energising with big stretches, detoxing twists and deeep breaths. Whether you’ve had a bit much Easter choc, over indulged in garden drinks or just depleted your inner battery this weekend, this practice will be perfect for you. 🌷🌸🧖

The sun coming in through the window
The smell of spring in the air
And my first ever chin stand

It’s a good day 🌷

Show up without expectations, move with softness and grace. If something doesn’t feel good, don’t do it, don’t rush, we want to release tension, not create it.

I’ve tried chinstand in the past, and have always felt like it was going to break my teeth, so I didn’t do it, I practice yoga to feel gooood ✨
Today I tried with blocks for support and lifted off the ground, I then realised my shoulders weren’t even touching the blocks and tried without and it just happened. It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of it.

I’ve practiced this with blocks, a wheel, the wall, and this is post teaching + half an hour of free flow. It doesn’t happen overnight. Don’t rush, enjoy the journey, use props & be proud of your practice, wherever you’re at.
Love your body, embrace your body, give yourself a hug, you deserve it ✨
