As you know I ran my last Slimming World group last night as I hang up my scales and concentrate on my family, my work and my health.

As part of my contractual obligations I have to close anything associated with Slimming World down so this post is me saying goodbye, and a huge thanks to everyone who has supported my business over the past few years.

Unfortunately as of 23rd August 2023, I am leaving my role as a Slimming World consultant.

It has been a hard decision but work commitments, my family and my long-standing back issues have helped me come to this point.

I have one group left at Bromley Cross next week and I want to celebrate with all the wonderful people who have made this role enjoyable.

I've met some wonderful people from Heaton, to Ingol, to Penwortham and Bromley Cross (and all the cover sessions in between). I want to thank each and every one of you.

A massive thanks to my group who bought a raffle ticket to raise money for MND, we raised £88.70 which I will top up to £100.

A big thanks to the guys who sold the raffle tickets; Chris and Ruth. Thanks to all who bought them, and a big well done to Maureen who won the soup maker.

And a big shout out to Dorothy for bringing the charity to our attention in memory of her sister, and to her daughter Anna who has walked 15000 steps every day in January to raise more awareness and money!

Here at Slimming World with Michael towers we are all about the charity, and throughout January any money put into the little red bus money tin (members of mine past and present will be familiar with the little red bus) will be donated to Motor Neurones Disease.

Anyway, to round off the month we are holding a raffle to raise money for the disease and we are raffling off this soup maker! Tickets are only a pound and we will conduct the raffle next Wednesday at the end of the second group!
