We are now counting down the weeks to our Annual Charity Lunch at Rivington Barn and the excitement is building.

This special event has become a much-loved tradition, and we are absolutely delighted that some of the wonderful ladies who first attended the lunch over 30 years ago will be joining us again this year. Their continued support means so much and is a lovely reminder of how this event has grown into such a special afternoon.

Each year the lunch brings together friends old and new for great company, entertainment, shopping and fundraising, all while supporting two very worthwhile local initiatives.

✨ We can’t wait to welcome everyone on Wednesday April 22nd for another memorable afternoon.

Once again our compère for this years event is David Dockerty.

You’ll know him as one of the familiar voices on 96.5 Bolton FM, bringing great music and proper local chat to the airwaves.

Liverpool born David is also the voice of matchdays at the Crown Oil Arena, home of Rochdale FC, keeping the crowd fired up and the atmosphere electric.

He’s no stranger to stepping into the spotlight either, regularly getting involved in stand-up comedy and live events across the region.

And there’s more…

David will soon be waking up the borough as the host of the brand new Radio Bury Breakfast Show, weekdays 7–9am, on the town’s exciting new radio station launching very soon!

Expect energy. Expect laughs. Expect a brilliant afternoon in very safe hands.

David Dockerty

This , we're introducing the three newest contributors to our match funding pot, who will be generously DOUBLING your donations on 1st and 2nd March!

For to have the biggest impact, we've been calling on local businesses and organisations to become 'Matchers', and we've been absolutely overwhelmed at the brilliant response!

Thanks to organisations like Russell & Russell Solicitors, Beldam Crossley and Bolton Irish Community Association, you've got the chance to make DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE to local families facing life-limiting illnesses 💜

We're now less than £10,000 away from our stretch match pot goal, so with just over a week to go until we're asking you to help Make Every Moment Count, we're asking if any more generous local businesses and organisations would like to join our Matchers?

Email fundraising@boltonhospice.org to find out more and pledge your support 🙏

Last year we decided to visit our chosen Charities before the Lunch so that we could learn a little bit more about them rather than after the lunch.

Before Christmas we met with Angela at the Endeavour headquarters and she gave us a quick insight on the work that the team had been doing. We also met Dave from Urban Outreach at The Octagon for a chat about what they have been working on at Urban Outreach. No spoilers as you will be updated at the lunch.

This year we wanted to raise money to help those who are being exploited or are suffering abuse as these cases seem to be on the uprise. It is reassuring that both these respected Charities have developed programs within the last twelve months aimed at supporting those involved and are actively developing these.

We are looking forward to hearing more about these from Dave and Angela on April 22nd at the lunch.

All monies raised will be split between the two Charities.

If you do want to join us or be involved in our fundraising please email lancashireladiesfg@gmail.com

We are delighted to announce that bookings are now open for The Lancashire Ladies Annual Fundraising Lunch, taking place on Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at the beautiful Rivington Hall Barn.

It promises to be a wonderful afternoon filled with good company, great food, entertainment and plenty of fun.

We are proud to be supporting The Evergreen Project at Endeavour which provides bespoke support for older victims of domestic abuse 55+ and No Hiding Place a new initiative at Urban Outreach whose aim is to support children who are at risk of Child Criminal Exploitation.

We are thrilled to announce an exciting line up for the day:
Michelle Livesey Feingold will be our after lunch speaker. Michelle has worked as a reporter at Hits Radio formerly Key 103 since 2005 and she has been a journalist for the past 20 years. Michelle was instrumental in setting up Clare’s Law alongside Michael Brown Clare’s father. Her story is sure to be both powerful and inspiring.
David Dockerty from Leaf Events will be our brilliant compere for the afternoon and will expertly guide us through the event keeping everything running smoothly with his trademark warmth and professionalism.
We are also delighted that the wonderfully talented Sian Rowlands will once again be providing the music entertainment.

If you want to book a table we are once again offering an early bird ticket of £47.50 before February 28th 2026. Please see the attachments. Cheques are to be made payable to Lancashire Ladies Fundraising Group.
