🌌 May the 4th Be With You from the Engine Shed! ✨

We have fully embraced the sci-fi spirit in the yard today! The TrackPlay hospital ward is still in full swing, but our crew has traveled to a galaxy far, far away...

The Jedi Apprentice: 🦕 Willow has commandeered a glowing LED inspection lamp and is currently marching around the shed humming the Imperial March. They make a very convincing Jedi (even in a flat cap and waistcoat!).

The Hyperdrive Repairs:

🔧 Neil is playing the role of our chief rebel mechanic. He is still working his way through the crates of broken Plarail trains, expertly bringing their tiny plastic hyperdrives back to life!

The Dark Lord of the Shed:

🐾 Smokey has officially joined the Dark Side. She is sitting on the workbench, using the "Force" to slowly and deliberately push tiny plastic gears off the edge while maintaining unbroken eye contact with Neil.

The Heavy Breather:

🚂 Even Whistle is joining in! She has figured out how to use her steam valves to do a flawless impression of Darth Vader’s breathing.

Emily is keeping the rebellion fueled with tea and a massive pile of Galaxy chocolate bars! Have a brilliant Star Wars Day, everyone! 🚀🚂🍫

🚂 A Massive Thank You, Middleton! ❤️🏁

What a day at Alkrington Community Centre! We’ve just finished packing away 500 feet of track, and our hearts are as full as our coffee cups were this morning. ☕️✨

A huge shoutout to every family who joined the crew today. Seeing the little engineers back on the tracks in Middleton was the highlight of our week. From the high-speed rollercoaster runs to the cozy moments in our new Reading Corner, it was a proper Sunday buzz!

We’d love your honest feedback... 🎤🚂

As a small family business, we are always learning. Today, we felt that our SEND (relaxed) session was perhaps a bit more "busy" than we’d like for a session designed to be quiet and calm. We want to make sure every child has the space they need to enjoy the rails comfortably.

We have a question for our SEND families:

If we were to change our timetable in the future to include two separate, strictly limited sessions—capped at just 10 children per slot—would that be something you’d support?
