Back from a family adventure in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🚙✨ and ready to roll back into Bolton for our next Fun With Trains sessions

This past month I’ve travelled across all four corners of the UK, soaking up different places, cultures, and traditions. And do you know what? Everywhere I went, I found that trains (big and small!) bring people together. 🚂💙

🌄🚂 Sunday Morning Train Spotting! 🚂🌄

How many of our little engineers wake their parents or grandparents up far too early on a Sunday? 🙈💛

We’re up in Nairn this weekend, camping right by the North Scotland line. Tomorrow morning (yes, before 9am on a Sunday! 😅) we’re heading to watch the Caledonian Sleeper from London to Inverness glide through.

Might even go live so you can join us for a bit of real train spotting 🚂✨

Did you know the very first model trains were made in the 1840s? They were clockwork toys built for the children of wealthy families; nothing like the detailed layouts we see today!
